Our story
We're Brandy and Tarra—two NY besties and moms who love our families, work hard, and one day looked at each other while deck drinking and said...
"We should do a thing..."

So, we did. 40 and Feral was born.
Â
40 & Feral wasn't created because we had everything figured out. It actually started as a podcast about our perimenopausal crazy lives. Then it grew, because we were tired of waiting for permission to chase big ideas.
Brandy is fueled by red wine, sarcasm, and an alarming amount of optimism after two glasses. Some people journal. Brandy goes down every possible legal rabbit hole and then says to Tarra, "Let's do this!!"
Tarra? Hand her a Michelob Ultra and buckle up. If you've ever heard someone say, "This might be a terrible idea..." there's a good chance Tarra's already halfway through making it happen. She is the go getter, the hype girl, the "we can do everything" girl! Fun fact- she does it all!

Together, we're equal parts organized chaos, questionable decisions, and "hear us out..."
But underneath the jokes is a mission we're serious about.
We believe women don't have to compete to succeed. We believe the best communities are built by women who celebrate each other's wins, share opportunities, and remind each other that there's room for all of us at the table. That's why 40 & Feral exists. To shine a spotlight on women-owned businesses across the country. To support artists, musicians, makers, dreamers, and doers. To laugh a lot. To occasionally cry in a Target parking lot. To drink the wine or the Mich Ultra.
And to prove that life doesn't stop at 40—it gets a whole lot more interesting.
